In this Demo
  • Let us start by looking at the logical devices. Logical devices are essentially logical abstraction of physical devices. Here you can quickly view and/or edit all the existing logical devices or create a new one quickly. Please note: There is no vendor specific information included in the Logical devices.
  • It is easy to edit the attributes of all the logical devices with one simple intuitive Apstra interface.
  • The logical devices are then mapped to an actual vendor specific physical device using the Interface map.
  • As seens here, you can choose a desired device from the many vendors automatically from the pick list. Juniper Apstra supports a wide range of device profile from all the vendors found in the market.
  • The logical devices make it easy to design Datacenters that are similar in architecture and design but may have different hardware from different vendors.
